One of the ways to incorporate the retro theme in a teen's bedroom is to work with the colors. During the retro era, people wore bold and vibrant colors. Some examples of these colors are electric blue, neon green and orange, bright pink and purple, apple green and yellow. The bedroom of the teen does not have to stick with one color. It will have a more retro feel if many of the colors are present in the room. Create swirl designs on the wall using the colors, or paint the wall a different color from the floor. The color coordination does not have to stop in the walls and flooring. The furniture and accessories inside the room may also have these colors to stand out.
