Garage sales do not normally get you the best price for pieces such as yours. I'd suggest, contacting a "Consignment Shop". They can be found in your local phone book. Most offer a 40/60 split on the sale of items in their shop. If you can take the items to the shop for consignment, you can save pickup charges that the shop would probably hit you with if they come to you home to get the piece. Such charges, will diminish what you'll get out of the piece.
