80's Toyota Celica battery indicator needle all the way to the right?

If the needle is at the plus side ,it is over caharging . This means the voltage regular is sticking . Some cars have the volatge regulator inside the alternator . Not sure about yours. BE CAREFUL IF IT IS OVER CHARGING THR BATTERY COULD BLOW UP WITH THE SMALLEST SPARK . IT HAPPEN TO ME.
