What do you wear to a memorial service?

My moms uncle died about 2 weeks ago and I'm going to the memorial service in florida in about a week. I am 15, what do you wear to these things? Could I wear one of those black, tight, high skirts with a fashionable belt things and a charcole short sleeve shirt and my hair straightened and jewelry? with sandals? what do you think...
