Help identify my TY plush?

I have had this toy for a few years now, and have tried desperately to find out who he is. He is a fluffy white dog, lying on his tummy. His tush tag says c 1987, which is where my problem starts, no TY's were made in '87! the tag is embroidered, and says 'handmade in Korea'. I've had him for a while, and bought him of a charity stall where the previous owner had had him for many years, so i do believe he came from that date. I took him to an antique auction a few years ago, but they were unable to help me, without his hang tag. She thought he might have been named 'Fluffy' and that he is worth alot of money. Any collectors out there able to help? Or should i chance it and sell him on ebay??
