Are ford fusions good cars?

my mom has a 2006 fusion and it seems like it is falling apart the belt squeaks the car is way underpowered the speakers rattle the transmission won't shift when it is cold the door handle in the back is falling off it has more squeaks and rattles then my 2003 malibu and i just wanted to know if you could tell me why it seems like this one is falling apart.
