Cam seal popped out... What could cause this?
You just answered the question in the last sentence! When the timing belt was replaced the seals were replaced also, and the technician did not seat/install the seal properly and the internal crankcase pressure caused the seal that was not installed all the way was the weak link and it popped out (have seen this numerous times) ADDED: It is normal practice to replace the cam and crank seals when the belt is done but, If you are sure that is the case Then the first thing to check is for restricted PCV flow or a clogged PCV valve!

Hey, I do Rapping myself. Your one problem is that you are trying to hard to Rhyme. Rapping is not rust rhyming it's almost like a pattern. Listen to Eminem and Lil Wayne for influence. You make a Point, then explain yourself backed up with a rhyme or two and then make another point linking on the rhyme that does not rhyme then continue and rhyme again, you can also bring back up the same topic after you hit the chorus. Oh, yeah. That would be easy. If you eat as much as you say you do and exercise the way you do, the weight should be coming off easily. It may slow down a little because your body will not have as much fat to burn off. To lose 15 pounds, I think you should not do the weight training until you get down to your goal weight. Also, you could go down to 110 and still be healthy if you are female. If this is a YMCA you are going to, use the grey machine with orange stripes(don't know the name, sorry). Can you cycle a bike without gears?
Ok i know you can physically cycle a biike without gears but what i ment was: i got an exercise bike but the fan belt broke, when i cycle its kind of like first gear all the time? yoiu know like my legs go so quickly and easily. is there any point of me using it? i go forty minutes at a time, will this do anything for me physically?

Was I physically abused as a child?
I'm 24 yrs old. From the time I was about 3-14 my parents (both African American, raised in the South and now in their 60s) would beat me with a leather belt. At the time, my dad was a rather large man (roughly 5'7 and 180 lbs.) And he would hit me at full force with his belt. Today, I am a very angry, occasionally violent adult. Many of my friends have had similar experiences with "the belt" and most are able to laugh about it. I don't find it funny. I always argue that what happened to us is considered abuse. Many of my friends argue that 'whoopins' are just a natural part of a black kids' upbringing. My questions r...am I being to dramatic or am I the only person who has common sense? Is this a matter of race or just two stupid a**holes who r stuck in old ways? How has this affected me and how can I get over the disgust I feel for my parents?

I've had trouble meeting a nice woman most of my life. But about five months ago, I met a really nice girl at church. We get along really well and I am thinking about asking her to marry me. But now I don't know if she'll ever want to see me again. I met her parents for the first time last night. They had me over for dinner. I'm on medication, and lately it's been upsetting my stomach. Dinner was going really well. We were talking and laughing, things were going smooth. Until I had a huge stomach attack. I had to take a monster poo. I stood up to go, but it was too late. I accidentally farted really loud and diarrhea exploded out of me. It ran down my leg and some even managed to get on the table and in the food. It got all over the floor and it smelled really bad. Then I farted like six more times really loud and more diarrhea exploded out of me. It got all over her antique dining table and on beautiful floor. I kept farting and pooping everywhere. It was everywhere. Her dad grabbed my arm and tried to walk me to the restroom, but it kept exploding out of me. Diarrhea got all over their carpet steps and carpet floor upstairs. I finally made it to the restroom and on the toilet. Then what happens? Their toilet overflows and diarrhea gets all over the floor. My hands and legs were covered in poo. My girlfriend and mom were crying. I offered to help clean, but her mom told me it would be better if I left. I got poop everywhere. They're going to have to replace the carpet and many other repairs because of me. I tried to call my girlfriend today, but she wouldn't answer. I tried to call her parents and apologize but they wouldn't answer. Do you think it's over between us? I really care about her. She's everything to me and I think I messed things up. I don't know what else to do.

We had my brass bed frame in the garage for about 10 years, and there was no damage done to it. And it was not covered! I'm sure the mattress will be fine, too, with that length of time. People store things like this in storage containers or garages all the time. You might want to try using a dust mite cover, if you feel you want that extra protection. They're available at Target for about $25, and they keep dust and mites completely enclosed. This would give you that extra feeling that nothing could come of storing your mattresses there, if you still weren't feeling comfortable. Good luck!

How much is a antique wood burning stove worth?

Do You Think She Likes Me?
ok, so i'm a freshman. I came from the smallest of the main feeder schools. I know many kids from other schools that came into my high school, but not everyone. Since like day one, I've had a feeling that this one girl may kinda like me. She was a bit too nice, and she smiled at me a few times. But I thought she was just being friendly. I didn't really react. Then, i noticed that she really is kinda shy whenever I'm around. We're both in honors algebra and health, and i've seen her talking to her friends very openly and happily. But whenever I'm around, whenever that happens, that's usually when we just pass each other in the halls, she would kinda smile and walk past. Before, she would kinda blush and look down and pass by. Back then, I didn't really notice her much because I didn't know her. Then, after a while, I realized that I kinda like her because she's really nice, smart, well-mannered, and a good person all-around. I'm not meaning to brag, but I'm kinda the same. However, after a few months, I started to realize that she either doesn't like me anymore or she never did, because I started to look at her across the class more often, and she rarely ever made an look at me or anything. We didn't really ever pass each other in the halls, and we never had an honest conversation. The only time we ever talked before was when somehow one of those backpack buckles or ropes wutever u call it got stuck to my desk when she passed by.. It 's kinda weird to describe how it happened. it just sounds stupid describing it as some buckle. So I assumed she didn't like me. However, at our school's open house, I was there as part of the school newspaper interviewing clubs and students. She was part of the swim team. I started talking to a female friend on the swim team, and the girl that i like started to giggle to one of her friends, and then rushed over to get into the conversation. She seemed a little fastidious in responding but then kinda eased off. You know how when you get nervous about something but you keep your cool by trying to talk all suave? Well, that's kinda how it was. We spoke for about 5 minutes. I should've stayed longer, but I left to go interview the baseball team. The next day, we didn't talk, but I think she was trying to get me to start a conversation because we had gym that day (health and gym rotate every day) and when we were out of the locker rooms waiting in this little commence area for the bell, she was talking to a friend and i was talking to some friends, and i noticed she was kinda looking over at us. She even put her jacket beside where I put my hoodie, probably so when i get it, we would be beside each other. Honestly, I might be thinking that she doesn't like me. Maybe she's just really nice and well-mannered. But whatever it is, I think there's potential that she might like me. I'm not really that hot nor am I really a GENIUS, so I don't know why she would like me. But if she does, I have no idea how i can talk to her more. She doesn't have a facebook nor do I know her number. I don't know her friends very well. And the ones I do are more of my friends than hers, so they don't know her contacts either. Garage sales do not normally get you the best price for pieces such as yours. I'd suggest, contacting a "Consignment Shop". They can be found in your local phone book. Most offer a 40/60 split on the sale of items in their shop. If you can take the items to the shop for consignment, you can save pickup charges that the shop would probably hit you with if they come to you home to get the piece. Such charges, will diminish what you'll get out of the piece.

Will a bad air compressor in my 1999 Taurus disable the car?
I just got my alternator changed and the belt above the Air compressor changed. A week later my car air compressor went bad. Now every time I turn on the air (ac or heat def.) the compressor makes this grinding noise. So I turn it off. It's been 2 more weeks and now im hearing this clicking sound as the belt goes around. I was told I would need to put another $300-$500 and I don't wanna pay if the car can still get me from A to B.

Chevy 98 wont start the motor turns over?
i have chevy 98 k1500 it wont start the motor does turn over we changed the ignition module the coil cam sensor the timing belt is aligned. the 1st spark plug sparks like 4 times out of 20 times trying to start it. so im guessing its something electrical but we have changed everything that would prevent that

Downtown Seattle Shopping-Need a store name?
I was in downtown Seattle at Christmas time and found a store that I loved but completely forgot about until now. If I recall it is in general across from Pacific Place/Nordstrom. the good news is that from what i see it has a chain not a belt. a belt would have failed already. the chain has a very long life expectancy. you replace it when you rebuild the engine. that goes for both the 3.1 and the 3.4 l engines.

1994 ford club wagon van question?
the serpentine belt on my van keeps coming off and getting cut up by the fan blade. ive replace it 3 times and the same thing keeps happening. it only fits on way and i followed the diagram evertime. The only thing i noticed was that the fan pulley doesnt have grooves for the belt and where the belt sits it looks as the pulley has worn down allowing the belt to come off??... anybody that can help please input. thanks alot

How to fix Squealing ram truck belt?
I have a dodge ram 1500 v8 it’s a 1996. Well I replaced my belt and tension pulley thing and that worked for about three weeks, then a storm hit and the squealing has returned. If I’m not revving the engine or keeping rpms low it does not squeal or very little but the second I touch the gas pedal bam super loud annoying noise. What can I do? I don't have money to pay mechanic to sit around for hours, so trying to fix in house. Also I was told might be idler pulley but no clue which one that is.

due to the severe pain u tore ur ligament, the only way to get it fixed is through surgery unfortunately. knee ligaments dont regenerate by themselves unlike other ligaments. im guessing its swelling more cuz ur trying to walk on it which is a dumb idea. ice it, it will shorten the recovery period and swelling is not necesseraly bad, it indicates something is wrong but its not bad, ur body uses it to avoid u moving your injured area and causing more damaged. Gotta go get an mri and if its a tear surgery for sure

Clutch pedal goes to the floor?
My truck starter making a noise yesterday ( sound like a loose belt), today I went to start the truck, push the clutch the noise came back, went away, came back , finally went away but the pedal goes down to the floor with little resistance and comes back about half way. The clutch reservoir is dry and I don't see clutch fluid on the floor or inside the truck's cabin. Any ideas?????

I would report it to the local police department. They will be able to give you advice as to how to approach the subject to her, and even may step in themselves to enforce the law. It's amazing how irresponsible people can be, and even more amazing that these people decide to procreate. She can get into a great deal of trouble if she is caught, but if it is brought up to the police department, she probably won't get into as much trouble, they'll probably warn her. I'd continue to contact them every time she refuses to use a seat for her child. Hopefully the message will get across to her. *smh*

I was at an estate sale today and found a nice, small antique looking bell. It is fairly plain with a nice brown patina. I also see that the clapper is a little rusty, it is shaped in a circle with a hole in the middle and is attached to the bell with a paper clip looking thing. Is the title states, is it a crime, or illegal to beat your child? I am a 16 year old male and i am beat almost every day, or almost every week by my parents. I am talking about with the use of certain things such as shoes, belts, or whatever can reach my parents hands. This left a few marks on my body such as scratches and bruises where i was hit. They justify hitting me by saying that it is a form of discipline, which most certainly does not work on me. My question is that is this punishable by law? Is/was your 2 year girl old very independent?
At two it's normal for some children to be very independent. They want to do everything themselves but if they can't do it or someone tries to help they get frustrated. It's their way of learning how to do things on their own. My little sister did it and so did many of the toddlers at the daycare center I worked at. Eventually she'll be able to do all this stuff on her own so it's just her way of learning how to do it so she can be a big girl.

i deadlifted 245lbs in class 1 time, which isn't that much, but I'm a total beginner to weights. I had the weightlifting belt on, but I did it with all my back according to my friends. They said I wouldn't be able to get up tomorrow because of sore lower back. Next day I was okay, so I tried again and did the same weight 4 times, they said I used all back again. Right after the deadlift I had pain under my lower abs on the left side. Today, I have minor pain in the bottom part of my left lat. My question is, could I have messed anything up, and how bad can the consequences be? I will choose best answer.

Help identify my TY plush?
I have had this toy for a few years now, and have tried desperately to find out who he is. He is a fluffy white dog, lying on his tummy. His tush tag says c 1987, which is where my problem starts, no TY's were made in '87! the tag is embroidered, and says 'handmade in Korea'. I've had him for a while, and bought him of a charity stall where the previous owner had had him for many years, so i do believe he came from that date. I took him to an antique auction a few years ago, but they were unable to help me, without his hang tag. She thought he might have been named 'Fluffy' and that he is worth alot of money. Any collectors out there able to help? Or should i chance it and sell him on ebay??

Let me clarify a few things for those of you who find fault in a woman 'choosing' to become a housewife without children. During my first four years of marriage, my husband worked like a slave as a low wage earner without vacation time to achieve his career goals through educational pursuits. During that time, I worked 40+hours per week and my husband and I were only able to take one true weeklong vacation. In our early 30s, neither of us entered the marriage with children. I owned (and still own) a condo and my husband lived me, contributing financially because our situation required two incomes. Now, our financial situation has changed. We moved to a new location because my husband completed his education and accepted a lucrative job offer. We purchased a new home, evaluated our 'new' financial situation and mutually decided that he would work 'outside' the home while I work 'inside' the home. I am now 35 years old and given our newly acquired financial ability to travel as well as my husband's first life opportunity to travel 7+weeks per year due to his generous vacation package, we are taking full advantage of our situation. Because my husband's income places us in a very high tax break, which will be MY tax bracket should I ever decide to 'work' outside the home, we prefer to waive what would be left of the 'extra income' I may earn after Uncle Sam takes a chunk and travel for two years prior to having children. I have been home for a year and I am shocked by comments from family and friends alike who seem so envious of our current situation that they find it difficult to abstain from making negative comments about my current status as a stay at home wife without children. Let me add, I went to college. I earned my degree and them some, with 7 years of college under my belt. If my husband's work situation were to change, I would be the first in line to aggressively pursue employment outside of the home rather than the first in the welfare line. It's almost laughable to read some posts written by people who dub housewives with or without children as lazy, gold-digger, hoes and the like in the discussion panels pertaining to this issue. I would appreciate an intelligent response to my question, particularly from those who oppose my perspective and can validly defend their perspective. Thanks for reading...

I am from Vermont, and received a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt in Maine. What will happen because of this? Will I just have to pay it and forget about it or will the insurance be notified about it. This is also the first ticket I have ever received and I was not speeding. Why Do Republicans Support The So Called "Patriot Act"?
I consider myself a conservative and this seems to be the opposite of what republicans claim they stand for. They claim they are for smaller government and less spending. They swore an oath to protect the Constitution. How can they continue to pass legislation that is a direct assault on our civil liberties and give more unchecked power, effectively increasing the size and scope of government and spending. Even 44 of the new so called "Tea Party" candidates voted to extend three provisions of the Patriot Act last night in a direct assault on the 4th amendment. These are liberties our founding fathers fought for and so many brave Americans have lost there lives protecting. What's sad is they rammed it through Obama style, not allowing any debate or amendments. Do the republicans really believe we should trade our liberties for so called "security"? Why does my car make a squeaky noise when i turn the wheel all the way to the left or right?
It only happens when the temperature falls below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Sounds like the belts are slipping pretty bad when it squeaks. It also occurs when I try to turn the wheel in either direction when I'm in park mode. The wheel inside the car makes a humming noise when I turn left or right as well. Now today it was 60 degrees Fahrenheit and there was no squeak or humming noise at all. Car is an 02 Lexus es300 100k miles. What do you think I can do? Will adding some kind of lubricant help? Appreciate your help folks.

I bought an item from eBay and I feel funny about the whole transaction. None the less, I received a tracking number today for USPS Priority tracking and it begins with 0309 and has 20 digits. All my other purchases using USPS tracking numbers begin with 9101 and are 22 digits long. The seller usually sells antiques...this was a snowboard jacket. No other items on his store are clothing...just antiques. The communication has been less than stellar but some sellers are like that. My quads are extremely sore?
On monday i did some lifting for the first time in a month. The leg excercises i did were leg press, squats with weight, lunges with weight and thats it for legs. My legs since then are extremely weak and sore. They keep buckling and ive even fallen on stairs. It is extremely painful to get up, sit down, and going up and down stairs, especially down stairs. Is this normal because i've never been this sore from a workout.

My cats are removing their collars!! Please help!!?
Now to start with, they are around 4 months old, both boys. I have never used the detachable collars or "breakaway" collars because all the cats I've ever had just bite the clasp and it comes sliding off, we used to use nice nylon collars with a proper buckles, none of my cats could ever get those off. now with the addition of these new kittens, i went looking for collars.. and somehow.. in my absence, the cat collar section has reduced down dramatically. And all of them are breakway. does anyone now where i can get some nice proper cat collars? i let my cats outside during the day and i want the kittens to have a collar that wont fall off when i start letting them out.
My 2004 Xterra sticks in second and won't accelerate.?
It has been doing this off and on for 6+ months. Two weeks ago it did it and totally stopped. It would not restart. I took it to the dealership and they said my timing belt broke. I assumed this was the problem all along. The day after I got it back it stuck in 2nd again. The speedometer sticks at zero and won't move unless a hammer on the dash. The car jumps/shudders when it sticks in second. At first I could just let it coast for a minute then press the gas again and everything would work. Now it won't accelerate at all. I have to pull over, turn the car off and start it again. The overdrive light flashes when I restart. I took it back to the dealership and also took it to a transmission only shop. Both places had it all day and could not find a problem. The issue is happening now at least once a week. I live in an area with lots of bridges, I am tired of being stranded on the side of the road and being so vulnerable in on coming traffic. I am about to pull my hair out. Does anyone have any ideas?

I hear a strange noise coming from under the car where the belt goes around?
It's possibly the alternator bearings which are on the spindle which routes the serpentine belt. Check and see if the alternator is securely bolted down since a lot of times it will make noise if it is not perfectly in line with the Serpentine belt. You may have to remove the belt and adjust the alternator which involves taking all the slack out of the Serpentine belt tensioner which can be tricky without the right tools. If you take the belt off be sure and make a diagram of how the belt goes around all the components cause it can be a major pain to find a diagram if it's not on a sticker under the hood.

06 Scion tc squeak/rattle front end when cold at idle?
I have an 06 tc and I've been having a problem with a noise for the past 3 winters. It only happens when the temperature outside is cold (below 35 degrees). It's a squeaky rattling noise coming from the front of the car. It only happens when in gear (Drive or Reverse) and idling (with foot on brake). It doesn't happen during acceleration or while driving. The dealership replaced the serpentine belt, but the noise is still there....driving me crazy....any ideas?

GIRLS!!! Tell Me What You Think!?
ok, so i'm a freshman. I came from the smallest of the main feeder schools. I know many kids from other schools that came into my high school, but not everyone. Since like day one, I've had a feeling that this one girl may kinda like me. She was a bit too nice, and she smiled at me a few times. But I thought she was just being friendly. I didn't really react. Then, i noticed that she really is kinda shy whenever I'm around. We're both in honors algebra and health, and i've seen her talking to her friends very openly and happily. But whenever I'm around, whenever that happens, that's usually when we just pass each other in the halls, she would kinda smile and walk past. Before, she would kinda blush and look down and pass by. Back then, I didn't really notice her much because I didn't know her. Then, after a while, I realized that I kinda like her because she's really nice, smart, well-mannered, and a good person all-around. I'm not meaning to brag, but I'm kinda the same. However, after a few months, I started to realize that she either doesn't like me anymore or she never did, because I started to look at her across the class more often, and she rarely ever made an look at me or anything. We didn't really ever pass each other in the halls, and we never had an honest conversation. The only time we ever talked before was when somehow one of those backpack buckles or ropes wutever u call it got stuck to my desk when she passed by.. It 's kinda weird to describe how it happened. it just sounds stupid describing it as some buckle. So I assumed she didn't like me. However, at our school's open house, I was there as part of the school newspaper interviewing clubs and students. She was part of the swim team. I started talking to a female friend on the swim team, and the girl that i like started to giggle to one of her friends, and then rushed over to get into the conversation. She seemed a little fastidious in responding but then kinda eased off. You know how when you get nervous about something but you keep your cool by trying to talk all suave? Well, that's kinda how it was. We spoke for about 5 minutes. I should've stayed longer, but I left to go interview the baseball team. The next day, we didn't talk, but I think she was trying to get me to start a conversation because we had gym that day (health and gym rotate every day) and when we were out of the locker rooms waiting in this little commence area for the bell, she was talking to a friend and i was talking to some friends, and i noticed she was kinda looking over at us. She even put her jacket beside where I put my hoodie, probably so when i get it, we would be beside each other. Honestly, I might be thinking that she doesn't like me. Maybe she's just really nice and well-mannered. But whatever it is, I think there's potential that she might like me. I'm not really that hot nor am I really a GENIUS, so I don't know why she would like me. But if she does, I have no idea how i can talk to her more. She doesn't have a facebook nor do I know her number. I don't know her friends very well. And the ones I do are more of my friends than hers, so they don't know her contacts either. We're not in any of the same classes. And we have assigned seats in math and health. And gym kinda seems awkward to just random approach her and start talking to her. All I know is she's in swimming and she plays violin in orchestra. I'm a music guy, but I'm a band geek, so we're naturally enemies. I play piano classically but I don't know how I could possibly just approach her and start a conversation about that. Please can anybody tell me how I should get into talking with her, far enough to ask her out?

If you have friends there, and much has changed, and your parents need you, then my all means make the move. Keep your beliefs. It's not like you're going to blow into town proclaiming them to all. I was downtown taking pictures today and decided to step into an antique shop.
